आईसीसी चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी के मैच कराची, लाहौर और रावलपिंडी में प्रस्तावित हैं, और इसकी शुरुआत पाकिस्तान और न्यूजीलैंड के बीच होने वाले मैच से होगी। पीसीबी के अध्यक्ष मोहसिन नकवी, संघीय आंतरिक मंत्री ने एक स्थानीय समाचार पत्र को बताया कि अगले साल की शुरुआत में होने वाली आईसीसी चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी के लिए पाकिस्तान जाने वाले भारतीय प्रशंसकों को वीजा जारी करने की प्रक्रिया में तेजी लाई जाएगी। नकवी ने संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका से आए सिख तीर्थयात्रियों के एक समूह के साथ बैठक मे प्राथमिकता वाले वीजा जारी करने के लिए प्रतिबद्धता जताई। भारतीय प्रशंसकों की भारी भीड़ के बारे की आशा व्यक्त की। नकवी ने कहा, ‘‘हम वीजा जारी करने की प्रक्रिया को तेज करने के लिए भारतीय प्रशंसकों के लिए टिकटों का एक विशेष कोटा बनाए रखेंगे,‘‘ तथा पीसीबी पाकिस्तान में भारतीय प्रशंसकों का स्वागत करने के लिए तैयार है, खासकर लाहौर में भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच बहुप्रतीक्षित मैच देखने के लिए।
चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी 2025 का आयोजन 19 फरवरी से 9 मार्च, 2025 तक पाकिस्तान में होना है। इस टूर्नामेंट में पाकिस्तान, ऑस्ट्रेलिया, भारत, न्यूजीलैंड, बांग्लादेश, दक्षिण अफ्रीका, अफगानिस्तान और इंग्लैंड सहित शीर्ष आठ अंतर्राष्ट्रीय टीमें भाग लेंगी।
मैच तीन प्रमुख शहरोंः कराची, लाहौर और रावलपिंडी में आयोजित किए जाएंगे, जिसमें टूर्नामेंट की शुरुआत पाकिस्तान और न्यूजीलैंड के बीच होने वाले शुरुआती मैच से होगी।
क्रिकेट मे रोमांचक मुकाबले की उम्मीद हैं क्योंकि ये शीर्ष टीमें चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी खिताब के लिए प्रतिस्पर्धा करेंगी। विभिन्न शहरों में खेले जाने वाले खेलों के साथ, पाकिस्तान के क्रिकेट प्रशंसकों को अपने घरेलू मैदान पर ही विश्व स्तरीय क्रिकेट का अनुभव करने का अवसर मिलेगा।
