Cyclone Dana: Landfall process continues in Odisha




The severe cyclonic storm Dana moved north-northwestwards with a speed of 10 km/h. It was centred at 7.30 am over north coastal Odisha. This position is approximately 30 km north-northwest of Dhamara and 50 km north-northwest of Habalikhati Nature Camp (Bhitarkanika).
The landfall process continued and the rear sector of the cyclone entered into land. The landfall process is expected to continue for the next 1-2 hours.
